Hahnville

Hahnville is a small town located in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, situated on the west bank of the Mississippi River, about 30 miles north of New Orleans. The area is known for its sugar cane plantations and production of molasses.

The community is unique because of the number of large estates that were once a part of the town. These estates were owned by wealthy sugar planters and their families. The town is also home to a number of historic buildings, including the Hahnville Courthouse and the St. Charles Borromeo Church.
