Luling

Luling is a small town located in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. The area is known for its community events, including an annual Krewe of Lul parade, which has been done since 1978, on the weekend before Mardi Gras. The Alligator Festival has taken place every September for more than 40 years.

Furthermore, the United Way of St. Charles sponsors a yearly 5K/10K race each spring over the Hale Boggs Mississippi River Bridge. And in the fall, the same group showcases their annual “Battle For the Pattle,” a gumbo and jambalaya cook-off.
